Congratulations to the students and teachers who sent their research to the contest

          On 6 June 2013 it was announced the contest for the "6th Initiative in Science and Technology for Sustainable Development" under the project of "FROM MICRO TO MACRO" by Thailand Institute of Chemical Engineering and Applied Chemistry . Thailand (TICHE) STISA together with SCG Chemicals Company Limited, Dow Chemical Thailand Limited, Thailand Research Fund (TRF), the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) and National Innovation Agency (NIA) to promote learning and development of research for sustainable development. The aims is to develop the skills in applying technology for practical use and promote the development of skills in business planning and optimizing commercial potential of research work. In this contest, there were a total of 86 teams attending including 39 graduate teams and 47 undergraduate teams.
          Congratulations to Dr. Worawit Wongniramaikul and Mr. Peerapong Kamlai, the academic and graduate student of the Faculty of Technology and Environment which received honorable mention for the graduate level from the results of the research " Cost-Effective Polymer Test Kit for Iron in Water." Furthermore, Dr. Worawit Wongniramaikul also received an honorable mention from the research “Determination of Methamphetamine Using Smart Phone Application (app)" which is a joint research with Dr. Ari Shudam and student from the Department of Applied Science, Faculty of Science, Prince of Songkla University Hat Yai Campus.
