Phuket ICT Training and Learning Center received a plaques honoring model center for lifelong learning 2nd generation.
On September 20, 2012 Phuket ICT Training and Learning Center which is managed by the Faculty of Technology and Environment and Phuket City Municipality received a plaque honoring it as a model center for lifelong learning, 2nd generation. Assist. Prof. Dr. Ratana Wetchprasit represented the center and recieved the awards from Prof. Dr. Kasem Wattanachai, Councillor in Bangkok.
Phuket City Municipality and the Faculty of Technology and Environment have built a partnership in managing Phuket ICT Training and Learning Center by taking into account the needs of local people for optimum effectiveness during 3 years of management of Assist. Prof. Dr. Ratana Wetchprasit as a director who was formerly Associate Dean for Special Affairs. In 2013 fiscal year, the Faculty is entrusted by the Municipality to continue managing the Centre with the new director Dr. Jirawat Taenthong, Associate Dean for Planning and Information Technology Development.
